Summer 2009: New East African sound tours Europe
In late august and early september 2009 three young talents from the Penya label will tour Europe, with shows coming up in The Netherlands, UK and Sweden. Sauti Sol, Stan and Dela will bring the new East African Sound to the floor with a energizing show. On Sunday August 30, they will perform at the Tolhuistuin, Amsterdam. Spring 2009: Youth SEEN Coalition launched
On Monday May 25, UpToYouToo and SPARK organized the Youth SEEN conference with debate, workshops and interviews in the Vondelkerk, Amsterdam. Many experts and interested parties came together and shared information on the important issue of youth self-employment and entrepreneurship. Speakers from Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, USA, UK and the Netherlands shared their experience and knowledge regarding youth entrepreneurship in developing countries.
